The Great Adventure

Growing up, my dad liked to listen to Steve Curtis Chapman. One of our favorite songs for riding in his pickup on the country back roads was The Great Adventure. It spoke of the Christian life, how following God was a great adventure. When I tried to think of how to express what this blog is about that song popped into my head.

Saddle up your horses
We’ve got a trail to blaze
Through the wild blue yonder
Of God’s amazing grace

Let’s follow our Leader
Into the glorious unknown
This is a life like no other
This is the great adventure

This is the story of my great adventure, my life journey with God. I am presently raising support to become a teacher for missionary kids in Togo, West Africa. On March 14th, I became a full-time missionary with ABWE (Association of Baptists for World Evangelism).
